What's Your NICHE Market?

Knowing your NICHE MARKET and where to find your NICHE is more important than the product you sell.

Most Netpreneurs take a narrow view of NICHE MARKETING as a limitation on their business, when in fact it is the POWER that provides longevity to their business.

The biggest mistake most new netpreneurs make online is that they have no idea where, or what, there NICHE MARKET is and therefore, sell their product to everyone and anyone and in the end sell to no one.

A common misconception is that – if you build it they will come. The truth is you have to find your NICHE and get them to come to your site.

In talking to new netpreneurs the first question I ask is who are you selling to? The almost instantaneous reply and always the same answer is: ‘everyone and anyone’.

The next successions of questions I then ask are:

* what type of product are you selling
* who would use your product
* What problem does your product solve
* Is your product distributed easily
* Who would benefit from using your product

Simple questions, but not so easy for many netpreneurs to answer. If you take some time and answer these very straight forward questions you will find that by defining your NICHE you will be better equip to go straight to the source, than taking a stab in the dark and hoping it will all work out.

You will also find that by defining your NICHE MARKET you will:

* Help define your Interne Marketing Strategy
* Develop products/services that appeal to your NICHE
* Set yourself up as an industry leader
* Optimise your site for search engines so your NICHE can find you easily
* Maximise your marketing budget where it counts.

Once again I ask you: WHAT’S YOUR INTERNET NICHE MARKET?

The truth can be found in your answers

Internet Niche Marketing - How to Create New Niche Products That Sell!

A niche product needs to be analyzed before being categorized as a quality product. For this, we need to understand whether it is salable or not. Here are a few tips to identify which sell and which do not.

Choose a good title

There have been numerous instances wherein niche products have sold solely on the basis of their title. Have you ever wondered why a title such as 'reduce your belly in under 7 days' attracts huge number of people. It is simple. People relate to this topic and would like to have a slim belly in less than 7 days. So, out here, it is important to catch a quality niche product on the basis of its title.

Create a theme and stick to it

If you wish to create a brand new product, you need to understand the market situation. For example, if you wish to write about baby foods, you need to research and figure out which baby foods sell the most. Based on the facts and figures, you can release your own product.

Be precise and to the point

Numerous talented writers who are habitual of penning 100 to 150 pages are almost never read. This is so because no one wishes to spend hours going through your product. In order to create a profitable niche product, you need to keep it short and simple.

Price it well

Whenever you are creating a new product from scratch, you need to understand that the users would buy only if the product is within their budget. Look for prices which range from $15 to $30.

Niche Product Marketing - Step One "Find Your Niche"

Niche Product Marketing has become a fine science. It is one of the easiest forms of internet marketing to duplicate over and over. In Step One, we will define "niche" and explain how to find an interesting niche market for your niche website that will make you lots of money!

Are you ready? Let's begin.

"Niche" definition In the context of Internet Marketing, a "niche market" is a market that is highly specialized and specific, has many searches for information on, yet has very few search results for in the search engines. Its "supply and demand" in the virtual world.

If you type dog food into your Google search engine, you will find more than 50 million results. As you can see, that topic is not a niche and is highly competitive. However, if you enter "dog food for puppies" into your Google browser, you will get a return of only 13,500 results. Now we're talking!

But wait, now we need to know how many people are searching for a niche product marketing or information site on "dog food for puppies". According to Overture, about 10 people per day are searching for this related term; about 300 per month. Not the best niche product market, but not the worst, either. However, this sums up the definition of "niche".

How to Find an Interesting Niche Market You may wonder, "Why does my niche website have to be interesting?". The best advice I ever received was to make sure that my niche web site was of a subject matter that I was interested in. Who wants to work on a site, or write articles to promote that site, on a niche subject that does not interest you? How boring and tedious would that be?

Think about your hobbys and interests. Do you like to sew quilts? Really enjoy fantasy baseball? Are you a big fan of a certain sports team? Perhaps you have a special skill? Flaunt it! Enjoy your niche marketing site! If there is enough interest, you will get traffic. If your content and products are of good quality, you will sell niche products. You know the saying, "If you build it, they will come". Find a niche market that interests you, build your site, and most importantly, enjoy your work!

After you have listed your interests and hobbys, you can use the Overture/Google strategy to find exactly where to narrow down your niche into a highly sought after area. Making Money with your Niche Marketing Site This is where the fun begins and this will also be the subject of "Niche Product Marketing - Step Two". In summary on this point, a niche marketing site can bring revenue through;

- Adsense

- Affiliate Income

- Selling your own products or ebooks

- and much more!

The "secret" is to list what interests you and/or what you are good at, research and narrow down to find your niche, then build it and promote traffic to your niche marketing site. Then make another one, then another, and so on...

The sky is the limit with niche product marketing. The crucial element is finding your niche and to do it properly so you don't waste countless hours promoting something with too much competition, or too little demand.

What are you waiting on? Get out there and find your niche!
